Regional Account Executive
Job responsibilities:
- Maintain/expand customer base, and monitor market conditions
- Establish key relationships with decision makers in assigned accounts
- Communicate with management team to not only share information but to ensure maximization of revenue
- Broker management
- Headquarter calls (direct or through broker network)
- Develop long-term customer partnerships that result in increased sales and margin growth
- Demonstrate knowledge of industry and customer brands, platforms, and strategies and be able to provide innovative customer-focused ideas
- Execute business plans, resolve issues and deliver solutions to meet customer needs and drive profitable growth
- Collaborate with internal technical, operations, and product development personnel to assure alignment of sales strategy and product offers within technical and operational capabilities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree is required
- Minimum of 5-years’ experience in the grocery/retail industry is preferred
- Successful sales and negotiation skills
- Efficiencies in Microsoft Office applications
- Must be able to maintain schedule according with customers’ business operations needs
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with individuals at all levels within the company and assigned accounts
- Traveling to be determined
