What ingredients do you need?
To make these mini pumpkin tarts, you will need the following ingredients:
- 1 cup Polar pumpkin puree
- ½ cup heavy whipping cream
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 tbs cinnamon
- ½ tbs nutmeg
- 1 tbs ground ginger
- 1 egg
- Ready made pie crust
- Vanilla Whipped Cream Frosting: 1 cup heavy whipping cream, ½ cup confectioner’s sugar, 1 tbs vanilla extract
How do you make them?
Follow these steps to create your mini pumpkin tarts:
- Preheat oven to 385 degrees F. Prepare standard muffin tin with baking spray.
- Combine ingredients for pie filling in a large bowl. Mix until all ingredients are incorporated evenly.
- Roll out room temperature pie crust and use a cookie cutter or cup to make rounds. Place rounds over muffin tin and gently push in to make tart shape. Re-work extra dough to make more rounds or decorative tops.
Once you have followed these steps, bake the mini pumpkin tarts in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is set. Let them cool before adding a dollop of vanilla whipped cream frosting on top. Enjoy!
