Polar Smoked sardines truly are extraordinary. They are imported from the Northern European Country of Latvia, where they are wild caught in the Baltic Sea. Each batch is hand-picked through a meticulous quality selection process. Each sardine is checked for imperfections, and if any are found, it is never included in any quality batches. 

Once a group of sardines passes the quality check, they are then naturally wood-smoked until perfectly golden. After the natural smoking process, the sardines are individually hand-packed, naturally seasoned, and delicately stored in premium refined olive oil.
